A day on the water does what a day in a meeting room cannot

A yacht is a small place with a clear task, and nobody on board can finish it alone. Within an hour, a group of colleagues who sit on different floors are grinding winches together, calling the next mark, and learning who stays calm when the boat heels. That is why sailing has been a corporate team-building staple for forty years. We run it from Barcelona, Palma and Ibiza, for six people on one yacht or sixty across a matched fleet, with the skippers, briefing, safety equipment and shore programme handled by us.

Formats that work

Team regatta dayFour to eight matched yachts, a professional skipper on each, three short races around the bay, lunch at anchor and a prize-giving ashore. The format for groups of 20 to 60.
Half-day sailThree hours on the water alongside a conference or offsite. Morning or sunset. Catering aboard, no racing, everybody helms.
Incentive weekTwo to seven days with a flotilla sailing between Ibiza, Formentera and Mallorca. Skippered yachts, a lead boat, shore dinners booked, and the sense of having earned it.
Board offsite afloatOne crewed yacht, six to twelve people, two or three nights at anchor with a chef aboard. The most private meeting room on the coast.
Client hospitalityA motor yacht or large catamaran as a floating venue for a product launch, a race-watching day or a dinner at anchor off Illetes.

Where we run them

BarcelonaMarina Port Vell is ten minutes from the conference district and the airport is thirty. Racing in the bay off the Barceloneta, with the city as the backdrop and the shore programme anywhere in it.
Palma de MallorcaThe largest charter fleet in the Balearics, so the most matched yachts for a regatta, and the Bay of Palma for reliable afternoon breeze. Twenty minutes from the airport.
Ibiza and FormenteraFor incentive trips where the destination is part of the reward. Short passages, Formentera on day one, and the beach clubs for the evening programme.

What we handle

  • The fleet: matched yachts for racing, or a mix of sailing yachts and a motor yacht as committee and hospitality boat.
  • Skippers and briefing: a professional skipper on every yacht, a joint safety and racing briefing, and a race officer for regatta formats.
  • Catering: from a picnic lunch aboard to a chef on each yacht, plus the shore dinner and prize-giving venue.
  • The extras: photographer and video, branded crew shirts, transfers, and an insurance certificate for your event file.
  • The paperwork: one contract, one invoice, one point of contact before and during the event.

Tell us the date, the number of people and the city they are flying into, and we will send a proposal with two or three formats and a per-person price within two working days.

Good to know

Corporate sailing questions, answered

How many people can you take sailing at once?

From six on a single yacht to around sixty across a fleet of matched boats. Larger groups are possible using a mix of sailing yachts and a motor yacht as committee boat and hospitality base.

Does anyone need sailing experience?

No. Every yacht carries a professional skipper who runs the safety briefing, teaches the basics and keeps the racing fair. Participants grind winches, trim sails and steer as much as they want.

How long is a typical corporate sailing day?

Four to six hours on the water, usually a morning briefing, two or three short races or a coastal passage, lunch aboard or at anchor, and a prize-giving ashore. Half-day formats work well alongside a conference.

Which base suits a corporate group best?

Barcelona for groups flying into a conference city, with Marina Port Vell ten minutes from the centre; Palma for a Balearic setting with the largest fleet; Ibiza and Formentera for incentive trips where the destination is the reward.
